null Najran University Surpasses Global Academic Performance Benchmarks on X with Exceptional Engagement

In a move that reflects the maturity of its institutional communication strategies and a modern media vision, Najran University’s official account on X recorded a general engagement rate of 5.3% of its total followers. This figure ranks among the highest documented engagement rates in the academic sector and significantly exceeds the global average engagement rate for university accounts, which ranges between 0.07% and 0.25%, according to the Rival IQ 2024 Higher Education Social Media Engagement Report.

This digital distinction is attributed to the university’s adoption of a content strategy focused on high-quality knowledge dissemination and interaction with educational and national events, in addition to diversifying communication methods to attract a more varied and interested audience. The enrichment materials produced by the university’s media studios also played a direct role in strengthening its presence, serving as an interactive knowledge gateway that resonates with community interests and highlights the university’s scientific and cultural role.

Najran University’s official spokesperson, Dr. Shadi Badawood, emphasized that this digital achievement would not have been possible without the direct support and continuous guidance of University President Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Khudairi, who has long championed a forward-looking vision of modern, impactful, and integrated university media that serves the institution’s developmental and knowledge-driven mission.

He added: “We are convinced that institutional communication is no longer a luxury, but a strategic tool for creating impact and shaping the modern public image of universities.”

It is worth noting that the Rival IQ Report is considered a global reference in digital performance analysis. Its latest edition covered hundreds of universities worldwide and relied on an accurate calculation method that measures engagement as a percentage of total followers, using the median average to ensure fair statistical representation.
